Cast is designed with privacy as a foundation. The app does not run any account system or backend that identifies you, and it does not track you. Your catch logs and fishing spots are stored on your device.
Your catch logs, fishing spots, and the environmental snapshot saved with each catch (tide, moon phase, pressure, time of day) are stored only on your device using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData and UserDefaults). The developer has no access to them and they are not uploaded to any server run by the developer.
With your permission, Cast uses your location while you are using the app to save a fishing spot at your current position and to look up the conditions for that point. Your location is stored on your device as part of the spots you create.
Location permission is optional. If you decline it, you can still add and use fishing spots by choosing them on the map yourself. You can change or revoke the permission at any time in your device's Settings.
To show weather, pressure, and forecasts for a spot, the app sends that spot's coordinates to the Open-Meteo weather service (open-meteo.com) and receives the forecast back. These are plain read-only requests: no account, no login, and no user identifier is sent, and the developer does not receive or log them. Open-Meteo handles those requests under its own privacy policy.
Cast does not track you and contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. No third party receives your catch logs or your spots.
The optional subscription (Cast+) is processed by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). Apple handles all payment details; the developer does not collect or store your card or payment information.
The app is suitable for ages 4 and up and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes all associated data. You may also delete individual catches and spots within the app at any time.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL and the Effective Date above will be updated.

Cast는 개인정보 보호를 기본 원칙으로 설계되었습니다. 이용자를 식별하는 별도의 계정 시스템이나 백엔드를 운영하지 않으며, 이용자를 추적하지 않습니다. 조과 기록과 낚시 포인트는 이용자 기기에 저장됩니다.
조과 기록, 낚시 포인트, 그리고 조과와 함께 저장되는 환경 정보(물때·월령·기압·시간대)는 Apple의 기기 내 저장소(SwiftData, UserDefaults)를 사용해 이용자 기기에만 저장됩니다. 운영자는 이 데이터에 접근할 수 없으며, 운영자가 운영하는 어떤 서버로도 전송되지 않습니다.
Cast는 이용자가 허용한 경우 앱을 사용하는 동안에만 위치를 사용하여, 현재 위치로 낚시 포인트를 저장하고 해당 지점의 조건을 불러옵니다. 위치는 이용자가 만든 포인트의 일부로 기기에 저장됩니다.
위치 권한은 선택 사항입니다. 허용하지 않아도 지도에서 직접 지점을 선택해 포인트를 추가·이용할 수 있습니다. 권한은 기기 설정에서 언제든지 변경하거나 철회할 수 있습니다.
포인트의 날씨·기압·예보를 표시하기 위해 앱은 해당 포인트의 좌표를 Open-Meteo 날씨 서비스(open-meteo.com)로 전송하고 예보를 받아옵니다. 이는 단순 읽기 요청으로 계정·로그인·이용자 식별자를 전송하지 않으며, 운영자는 해당 요청을 수신하거나 기록하지 않습니다. 해당 요청은 Open-Meteo의 개인정보 처리방침에 따라 처리됩니다.
Cast는 이용자를 추적하지 않으며, 제3자 분석·광고 SDK를 포함하지 않습니다. 제3자에게 조과 기록이나 포인트를 제공하지 않습니다.
선택형 구독(Cast+)은 Apple App Store(StoreKit)를 통해 처리됩니다. 결제 정보는 Apple이 처리하며, 운영자는 카드 등 결제수단 정보를 수집·보관하지 않습니다.
본 앱은 만 4세 이상 누구나 사용할 수 있으며, 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.
데이터는 기기에 저장되므로 앱을 삭제하면 관련 데이터가 모두 제거됩니다. 앱 내에서 개별 조과와 포인트를 언제든지 삭제할 수도 있습니다.
본 방침이 변경될 경우 해당 URL에 업데이트된 내용을 게시하고 상단의 시행일을 갱신합니다.
