Lexibite is designed with privacy as a foundation. The app does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All data stays on your device — always.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Lexibite stores the following data only on your device using Apple's standard local storage (UserDefaults). This data never leaves your device:

This data is shared between the main app and the home/lock screen widget via Apple's App Group mechanism — a secure, on-device channel. It is never transmitted to any server or third party.

4. Network Connectivity

Lexibite's learning content works on-device. Word content is bundled within the app, and no learning data is transmitted over the network. Pronunciation is provided by your device's built-in text-to-speech engine — no audio is streamed.

5. Third-Party Services

Lexibite does not use any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics tools, or crash-reporting services. No third party receives any data from this app.

To deliver new monthly vocabulary packs, the app periodically downloads public content files from our content server (GitHub Pages). These are anonymous read-only requests for static files — no personal data, learning progress, account, or identifiers are transmitted.

6. Purchases

Any optional purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). Apple handles all payment details; the developer does not collect or store your card or payment information.

7. Children's Privacy

Lexibite does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Because no data is collected at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

All locally stored data can be deleted at any time by going to Settings → Reset all progress within the app, or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling Lexibite removes all associated data from your device.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL and the Effective Date above will be updated. We will notify users through an app update if the change is material.

Lexibite은 개인정보 보호를 기본 원칙으로 설계되었습니다. 이 앱은 어떠한 개인정보도 수집, 전송, 공유하지 않습니다. 모든 데이터는 항상 사용자의 기기 안에만 저장됩니다.

2. 수집하지 않는 정보

• 이름, 이메일 주소 및 모든 연락처 정보
• 위치 데이터

3. 기기 내 로컬 저장 데이터

Lexibite은 Apple의 표준 로컬 저장소(UserDefaults)를 사용하여 아래 데이터를 기기 내에만 저장합니다. 이 데이터는 절대 외부로 전송되지 않습니다.

위 데이터는 Apple의 App Group 메커니즘을 통해 앱 본체와 홈/잠금 화면 위젯 사이에서 공유됩니다. 이는 기기 내의 안전한 채널이며, 어떤 서버나 제3자에게도 전송되지 않습니다.

4. 네트워크 연결

Lexibite의 학습 콘텐츠는 기기 내에서 작동합니다. 기본 단어 콘텐츠는 앱 안에 내장되어 있고, 매월 신규 단어 팩만 콘텐츠 서버에서 추가로 내려받습니다. 학습 데이터(진도·기록)는 네트워크로 전송되지 않습니다. 발음은 기기 내장 TTS 엔진을 사용하므로 오디오 스트리밍이 없습니다.

5. 제3자 서비스

Lexibite은 어떠한 제3자 SDK, 광고 네트워크, 분석 도구, 충돌 보고 서비스도 사용하지 않습니다. 제3자는 이 앱으로부터 어떠한 데이터도 받지 않습니다.

매월 새로운 단어 팩을 제공하기 위해, 앱은 콘텐츠 서버(GitHub Pages)에서 공개 콘텐츠 파일을 주기적으로 내려받습니다. 이는 정적 파일에 대한 익명 읽기 요청이며, 개인정보·학습 진도·계정·식별자는 일절 전송되지 않습니다.

6. 결제

선택형 결제가 있는 경우 Apple App Store(StoreKit)를 통해 처리됩니다. 결제 정보는 Apple이 처리하며, 운영자는 카드 등 결제수단 정보를 수집·보관하지 않습니다.

7. 아동 개인정보

Lexibite은 만 13세 미만 아동의 정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다. 데이터를 전혀 수집하지 않으므로 모든 연령대의 사용자에게 안전합니다.

8. 데이터 보관 및 삭제

로컬에 저장된 모든 데이터는 앱 내 설정 → Reset all progress 또는 앱 삭제를 통해 언제든지 삭제할 수 있습니다. 앱을 삭제하면 관련 데이터가 기기에서 모두 제거됩니다.

9. 방침 변경

이 개인정보 처리방침이 변경될 경우, 해당 URL에 업데이트된 내용이 게시되며 상단의 시행일이 갱신됩니다. 중요한 변경이 있을 경우 앱 업데이트를 통해 사용자에게 알립니다.
